Tony, whose career spans 20 years, oversees our financial operations. He brings to our team a solid senior financial and general management background, including 7 years as either COO or CFO of Affiliated Healthcare, Inc., a leading regional managed care organization. He played an instrumental role in the rapid development of that organization and its eventual sale to and integration with Wellpoint Health Networks, Inc., one of the nations largest publicly-traded managed care companies.

His background also features extensive experience in the venture capital and commercial banking businesses, where he was involved in structuring a broad spectrum of corporate finance transactions, from seed stage equity investments to multi-million dollar corporate loan syndications. Over the years Tony has been involved in serving the financing and managed care needs of a variety of corporate clients, including Panhandle Eastern Corporation, Continental Airlines, American Airlines, Browning-Ferris Industries, Service Corporation International, Sulzermedical Corporation, Union Bankers Life Insurance and Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance.

A native of South Texas, Tony has a MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University.
